A truly lovely ring with a gorgeous green tourmaline taking center stage. This 14K yellow gold bombé ring features a very verdant pine green tourmaline. The stone is set flush to the top of the 'bombe,' so the overall feel while wearing is quite low profile. The soft, curving shape of the setting lends to the overall natural and organic feeling of the ring.
Much like most things in nature, the color of this stone is actually so much better in real life and the photos are not doing it justice. An earthy, mossy green in some lights, a darker, more forest green in others. Hints of grassy greens and subtle yellow highlights really come through too, especially out in the sunshine. Tourmaline is my favorite stone because it comes in almost every color of the rainbow, and can really vary a lot in each color's range. This piney green is special and truly pretty! It would look right at home on the hand of a nature lover!
