A hefty chain necklace with strong feminine energy!
A lovely two tone beauty in rose gold and sterling silver. Traditionally, rose gold symbolizes warmth and femininity, and sterling silver can represent clarity, intuition and feminine energy too, and has historically been linked to lunar symbolism! Sterling is the brightest, whitest metal there is when it's at its highest polish, and vintage rose gold (especially 9ct from the UK) has the coziest, gentle rose color to it that I have always loved. The quiet contrast of these two alongside each other represents the duality in each of us, embodied in one deliciously weighty and strong necklace.
The necklace is clasped by a 9K padlock, which is my favorite kind of closure- a weighty piece of hardware with a literally charming presence. The heart shape of the padlock is contrasted by an accompanying sterling silver T Bar. Again- contrasts in color was well as a curvy shape next to a strong, linear bar with a softly spiraled texture.
To take this notion one step further- I really love the idea of dual feminine symbolism here. A concept that spans mythological, cultural, and spiritual traditions, (Persephone in Greek mythology, shakti energy in Hinduism). Two different sides of the same coin in a way, representing the sometimes contrasting nature of feminine energy: creation and destruction, darkness and light, quiet nurturing alongside fierce power. This combination of equal parts bright white and gentle rose gold in a matching link highlights an integral, interconnected dynamic that we each have within us at all times.

The chains are both vintage and in very good condition - the rose gold side is stamped 9ct on the padlock and at both ends of the chain. The silver side is hallmarked on each link with the lion passant, the UK symbol for sterling silver
