A slightly kooky spin on a pearl necklace. If you've been around here for a while, you know that I really enjoy a subversive take on a classic strand of pearls. These shell beads in abstract, cloud-like shapes alongside faux pearls creates a very graphic and punchy look while still feeling earthy and beachy due to the organic material of the shell.
The shell beads vary in color from a creamy white to a soft brown and have a fun and bright rainbow iridescence that adds to the organic vibe. I really like the juxtaposition of the amoeba-like shell shapes next to the round pearls, it comes off as very editorial and expensive looking even though the materials are not fine. A unique spin on the idea of a traditional pearl necklace with a completely different profile and look, but with the same pearly benefit of bringing light and glow to your face.
This necklace would look really cool stacked with a couple of silver or gold chains!
