A vintage silver cartouche pendant from Egypt. Teeny tiny Egyptian hallmarks tell us it’s from the 1980s and is made of 800 silver. A solidly made, interesting piece with a ton of character and texture. The bail is quite large and could accommodate a variety of chains or even a cord or small strand of beads.
After a good amount of time on google translate, I believe the characters spell out the name CHRIS. This probably would have been a souvenir piece, similar to the license plate keychains with your name spelled out, but I think anyone -despite their given name- who is a fan of Egyptian hieroglyphics would enjoy wearing this!
