Fantastic vintage doorknocker earrings from one of my favorite under the radar designers from the 80s and 90s, Peter Brams.
Brams was an American jewelry designer and art collector. When he bought art, he bought what called to him, and chose pieces for his collection based on his heart and his eye, not on the current trends or what others were buying. When he was designing, he focused on creating what he hoped would "become classics."
In that regard, I think these 14K yellow gold doorknockers fit the bill! They are hollow so they are lightweight on the ear, but have an impressive '90s profile. Simple design, bold statement makers with a no nonsense attitude and a "I'm not bossy, I'm the boss" vibe. Classic for a reason!
